Welcome to Surge Radio's 'Rosie on the Mike', Rosie being the girl on campus with unnecessarily red lipstick and sunglasses as big as china plates, and Mike being the guy who wears swimming trunks far too often and has respectable facial hair. Broadcast live from Southampton's Student Union every Wednesday from 7pm-8pm, where we'll will be delivering a full hour of tunes that will get you set and in the mood for your night out.

Mike'll be playing the best Alternative/Rock music from Foo Fighers to Foals, Kasabian to Kings of Leon, Jet to John Mayer and Slash to The Strokes, whilst Rosie reads HEAT and asks who the hell any of these are. Basically, we're not fans of JLS or The Saturdays and you shouldn't be either, but why? Many would ask that. The simple answer is because they're not very good, whilst those who are good will be played on our show (Mike: however if The Saturdays were on mute, I would happily go to every gig).

Join Rosie and Mike live from the studio as they play to you great music, with a 'Band of the Week' as well as a 'Song of the Week' incorporated into every show, talk about the oddest stories they've seen in the last week, hold competitions for listeners and hold Live Lounge Sessions.
