Artist Biography
The Automatic are four teenagers whose songs are route maps to escaping the humdrum life of the small Welsh village of Cowbridge. Growing up on the edges of Cardiff they started playing together in primary school using sofas and 5 string guitars.
They've released 5 singles to date (two were re-releases - Raoul and Recover) and their debut album Not Accepted Anywhere was released on 19 June, 2006. It peaked on 27/06/06 at #3 in the UK Album Charts
Their most successful single to date, Monster (released 5th June) went to #23 from downloads only, and when it was released in the shops a week later, went to #4 in the UK Singles Charts.
