Artist Biography

U2 is a rock band from Dublin, Ireland. Since their first studio release, Boy, in 1980, they have released ten other albums, including six that reached number one in the United States charts. Their latest studio release, How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb, has sold over 12 million copies worldwide and won Album Of The Year at the Grammys.

U2 is composed of: Bono (Paul David Hewson) on vocals, and occasional rhythm guitar and harmonica; The Edge (David Howell Evans) on lead guitar, keyboards and backup vocals; Larry Mullen Jr. on drums and percussion; and Adam Clayton on bass.
