Artist Biography

The self-proclaimed "4 Horsemen of 2012" hail from New Cross, London and are influenced by the early nineties rave scene, the KLF, John Foxx, the Prodigy, novelist William Burroughs, the astronaut Buzz Aldrin, and Aleister Crowley.First single "Gravity's Rainbow" b/w "The Bouncer" (Angular Recording Corporation) was limited to 500 copies on white vinyl and sold-out very quickly. A remix EP appeared on Kitsune, followed shortly after by "Atlantis To Interzone"/"4 Horsemen of 2012" on Merok.

Now signed to a major label, and touring the UK, Klaxons are getting widespread press. Their first single on Polydor, "Magick", reached the Top 40, and their follow-up single "Golden Skans" came out on January 22nd, 2007. Klaxons' debut album "Myths Of The Near Future" was released on January 29th and reached number 1 on the UK albums chart soon after.
