Part of what has become known as the 'Swedish House Mafia' along with Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello and Axwell.
Eric Prydz is a Swedish DJ and producer best known for his 2004 hit single "Call On Me", sampling the chorus of Valerie(the only sample ever allowed of Winwood's work), which topped the UK singles charts for 5 weeks. Sales of the track were undoubtedly helped by a particularly eye-catching music video containing a suggestive aerobics fitness routine. He also releases music under the aliases of Cirez D and Pryda. The music Eric produces falls under the genre of Tech House which is a subgenre of Electronica.
He is currently working with all members of The Swedish House Mafia, especially with Axwell. Axer is the name which Axwell and Eric Prydz have taken for their productions. The first production, under the pseudonym "123", could be considered in the Electro House genre.
