Artist Biography

There is more than one artist with the name Shapeshifters.

The first, and most well known, are are a British House Music group consisting of Simon Marlin and Max Reich and female vocalist, Cookie. They first became popular in 2004 with thier hugely popular debut single Lola's Theme. After several months on various high profile DJs playlists, it was picked up by Positiva Records and topped the UK Charts and became a Top 10 hit accross Europe. It was the year's most played Dance record. The following year, they released Back to Basics - a Top 5 hit in the UK. In March 2006, they released thier debut LP - Sound Advice, along with a third successful single titled Incredible.

The second, Shape Shifters, are a Los Angeles based underground collective of hip hop artists, currently consisting of AWOL One, Existereo, Die Young, Life Rexall, Akuma, Radioinactive, Circus, LA Jae, and DJ Rob One.

The third, The Shapeshifter, is also an award winning electronica act from New Zealand (now located in Melbourne).
