Artist Biography
The Futureheads are a four-piece band from Sunderland, England. Their energetic performances, witty lyrics and confident storytelling resulted in critical acclaim upon the 2004 release of their eponymous debut album. Their influences include XTC, Fugazi, Devo, and The Jam.
They are perhaps best known for their cover of the Kate Bush song Hounds of Love.
The second album News and Tributes was released on June 13th, 2006 and saw a forward-thinking, more mature sound. Lead single Skip to the End received mainstream radio play in the UK.
