October - Our best ever freshers week programming to date!

November - The Students' Union agree to take in SURGE as part of their media portfolio.

December - The first ever SURGE Aid!!  We record our own awesome version of Band Aid! - VIEW LYRICS
- The Christmas Show, and no...Bob Marley was not a character in Dickins' "A Christmas Carol"
January - During Late Night Love we broadcast the first ever proposal on SURGE!!
February - The years RSL kicks off from 18th Feb - 18th Mar, it's going to be bigger and better than ever. 
- The launch party at the CUBE is awesome, with an epic countdown to midnight, and a balloon drop!
- Nick and Mogs are the news faces of weekday breakfast, with Andy P at weekends, and Alex in the afternoon.
March - SURGE provides it's usual extensive coverage of the Students' Union Elections
- The BIG give-away begins, the prizes include a Uni-link bus and a fridge full of beer! - VIEW ARTICLE
 - The annual wrap party starts at the Stags Head, and ends up at the Hobbit. 
- The new Surge Committee are elected. Matt Hurst takes over as Station Manager.
