If you aren't keen on getting involved behind the microphone there are plenty of ways you can help out at Surge.
- Publicity: Help promote Surge around the union and the university and boost listenership.
Email: Head of Publicity. - Technical/Systems/Software: See yourself as a bit of a geek. Use your skills to manage the Surge systems and website.

Why get involved with Surge?
All positions at Surge are unpaid, however there are some fantastic benefits if you get involved.
First and foremost, you'll be part of a fast growing, multiple award winning student radio station. We're well respected in the student radio community, and if you're looking into radio as a career, your work with us will look great on your CV.
As a Surge DJ, you'll also have access to all the latest releases and music news, and from time to time you might even get free gig tickets or band merchandise.
As a member you'll be able to use our studios and resources, enabling you to create demos to send to prospective employers and awards entries. We'll continue to offer these facilities wherever possible even after you've left University.
We look after all our members and have some fantastic socials throughout the year.
